11am - 11.45pm Biomechanics

Making sense of motion - Projectile motion- free body diagram, resolution of forces and patterns of flight.
Use of spin in sport to create a Magnus force, causing deviations to expected flight paths.
11.45 -12.30pm Exercise Physiology
Methods of evaluating aerobic capacity, strength and flexibility.
The impact of training on lifestyle diseases - Cardiovascular system.
Rehabilitation of common sports injuries.
Lunch
For the afternoon sessions the group will be split in half to accommodate two smaller workshops, switching sessions after a short break at 2.15pm.
